岗位职责:

1.  Clinical  Practice

(1)  Provides  direct  patient  care  in  specialty  area

(2)  Coordinates  between  interdisciplinary  teams  to  enhance  collaboration  for  promoting  health  and  problem  solving      

(3)  Prioritizes  and  organizes  work  to  meet  dynamic  changes  in  nursing.  



2.  Training

(1)  Identifies  the  training  needs  in  specialty  nurse  and  provide  training  as  needed  

(2)Collaborates  with  Nursing  Education  Department  Manager  and  Nurse  Educators  in  planning,  implementing  and  evaluating  hospital-wide  education  and  training  programs  

(3)  Conducts  training  and  assures  implementation  of  training  and  continuing  education  in  the  Nurse.  

(4)  Evaluates  the  outcomes  of  training  programs  and  initiatives  within  the  Nurse

(5)  Mentors  and  coaches  new  nurses,  trainees  and  interns  

(6)  Provides  assistance  and  support  to  nursing  staff  as  needed  regarding  clinical  issues  and  education

(7)  Facilitates  staff  education  by  providing  appropriate  resources  from  books,  journals  or  on-line  resources  

(8)Implements  the  Preceptorship  Program  in  the  Nurse  by  monitoring  and  providing  support  to  Nurse  preceptors;  carry  out  periodic  evaluation  of  preceptors'  performance  

(9)Documents  and  monitors  the  education  and  training  of  staff  nurses  in  the  Nurse  and  ensures  complete  training  record  of  nurses  in  the  Nursing  Education  Department.  

(10)Identifies  assists  in  developing  patient  education  materials  in  each  department.

3.  Audit  &  Research

(1)Assists  the  head  nurse  or  clinic  manager  in  ensuring  that  nursing  staff  maintains  an  established  level  of  clinical  competency.

(2)Collaborates  with  head  nurses  and  assistant  head  nurses  in  ensuring  that  new  nurses  satisfactorily  completes  competency  requirements  of  new  nurses

(3)Provides  evidence-based  resources  for  improvement  of  nursing  practice  in  the  Nurse

(4)Coordinates  research  activities  involving  the  Nurse  and  participate  in  data  collection,  analysis,  and  presentation  as  appropriate.

  

任职资格:

Qualifications:

(1)Current  registered  nurse  licensure  in  China  preferably

(2)Minimum  with  Bachelor’s  Degree  in  Nursing  (BSN)

(3)Preferably  with  some  teaching  experience  as  preceptor,  skills  lab  or  life  support  instructor    or  other  teaching  experience  

(4)Minimum  of  5  years  nursing  experience  

(5)Interest  in  teaching,  coaching  and  mentoring  

(6)Overseas  experience  preferably

(1)Adequate  interpersonal  communication  skills  

(2)Adequate  leadership  and  management  skills  

(3)Adequate  nursing  experience  in  general  

(4)Strong  nursing  knowledge  and  skills

(5)Has  ability  to  work  with  people  from  a  variety  of  backgrounds  

(6)Be  able  to  assess  the  need  for,  plan  and  implement  training  strategies  

(7)Assisting  to  write  a  variety  of  curriculum  for  nursing  training  

(8)Cooperate  with  Nursing  Administration  Team  to  prioritize  and  organize  training  program  

(9)Excellent  English  language  skills



Knowledge:

(1)Understanding  of  the  health  bureau  policies  

(2)Understanding  of  GZU  policies  and  procedures  

(3)Understanding  of  quality  and  safety  standards  based  on  JCIA  requirement  

(4)Understanding  of  clinical  flow  of  both  Inpatient  and  Outpatient  Nursing  Units  

(5)Keeps  abreast  of  latest  trends  in  nursing  and  hospital  operations
